This 6-week Summer Revision Course is designed for children currently in Year 4 who are preparing for the 11+ and want to strengthen their Maths and English skills before starting Year 5.

The course is suitable for children preparing for the 11+ secondary transfer test (GL and CEM), as well as similar entrance examinations for grammar and independent schools.

My Journal is a safe space for learners to write down their thoughts, ideas and reflections without any feedback or judgement. 

A journal entry is included throughout the course on a weekly basis.

It is designed to promote self-awareness and independence while fostering good mental health.  
Meet the course teacher

Sisi Tatsi

Sisi brings over 20 years of expertise in primary and secondary education, having successfully led as Head of Department in seven primary schools and five secondary schools throughout her career. Her extensive experience has given her a deep understanding of how children learn best, allowing her to create highly effective, highly effective, evidence-informed teaching strategies tailored for 11+ success.

With a bachelor’s degree in English Literature, a postgraduate degree in Business and additional qualifications in Children’s Psychology, she integrates a broad academic background with hands-on teaching experience. She is also an accredited educator in Children and Young People's Mental Health, reflecting her dedication to supporting not just academic growth but also student wellbeing, confidence and resilience.

In 2021, Sisi founded DLG Academy, a specialist tuition centre designed to provide designed to provide specialist educational support that goes beyond standard tutoring. The Academy is built on her vision of holistic education, ensuring that students not only excel academically but also develop a love for learning, self-motivation and the ability to think critically.

As a published author of 9 educational books and the creator of 21 courses—spanning traditional classroom teaching, online self-study courses and 11+ mock exams—Sisi’s expertise extends far beyond the classroom. She continuously engages in professional development, attending educational seminars and research initiatives, ensuring that her teaching methods remain cutting-edge and highly effective.
